About the play
What would you do if you were suddenly transferred back in time 500 years in worlds’
history? This is what happened to Mario and Saverio, who happen to unexpectedly find
themselves in the years between Middle Age and Renaissance. Knowing what will happen
in the 2000s they try to change history.
The coming TeaterPi’s performance on stage is based on a free interpretation of the film
“Nothing left but crying” (1984) by and with Massimo Troisi e Roberto Benigni. The
languages of performing arts, movies and music are woven together to allow the public a
deep immersion into the absurdity of time and in the magic of a satire that is light and
powerful at the same time.
